NWN Carousel targets hybrid labor market with new product

Cloud communications solutions provider NWN Carousel made a game of better integrating all the requirements for creating hybrid work environments with the introduction on Monday of its new hybrid work suite.

The Hybrid Work Suite is NWN Carousel’s approach to integrating the six key components of hybrid work environments, including devices, contact center, unified communications, security, collaboration and networking, a said Jim Sullivan, CEO of the solutions provider based in Waltham, Mass. .

NWN Carousel, formed by the mid-2021 acquisition of Carousel Industries by NWN Corp., focused on creating hybrid work environments long before they became known in the wake of the COVID-coronavirus pandemic. 19, Sullivan told CRN.

“We have been offering hybrid work environments for over 20 years and have become a solid expert in this area,” he said. “We can provide the six key elements needed. And when COVID hit, our growth really accelerated. When the “hybrid work” was noticed, we had already done it. We haven’t made the switch to hybrid work because of COVID. We were already there.

New to the Hybrid Work Suite is the ability for NWN Carousel to manage all facets of the company’s offerings through a single platform, which the company calls EMP, or the Experience Management Platform, Sullivan said.

“We can manage, for example, Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft customer environments simultaneously,” he said. “Laptops, CRM (customer relationship management), WebEx or Teams, etc. can be monitored at the same time. And if issues arise in the environment, we can manage it, whether it’s on-premises or in a private or public cloud.

NWN Carousel’s hybrid work suite takes many components that businesses used on-premises and pushes them to the cloud, Sullivan said.

“A lot of companies are managing only through the network or through communications only,” he said. “But not many people manage devices or security on a single platform. We manage devices, contact center, unified communications, security, collaboration and networking. We are focused.

Hybrid Work Suite is available as a complete suite, or customers can choose which components to implement, Sullivan said. It currently supports single-tenant and multi-tenant cloud deployments across Cisco, Avaya, and Microsoft calling ecosystems starting at under $ 20 per user per month.

NWN Carousel is also making its hybrid work suite available to other MSPs, Sullivan said. However, he said, the company’s goal is to bring the full suite to its 7,000 customers.

NWN Carousel has a three-year development roadmap for the hybrid work suite, but for the first half of 2022 it will focus on deploying it to its customers, he said.
